DIY CD Platen

If you have ever screen printed, you most likely have been asked to print CD's. Here is a simple Do it Yourself Project that you can create a CD platen for under $15. This type of printing requires a vacuum frame, but not the DIY CD Platen. It holds the CD in place extremely well and can be used to print more than one color. Working at Hatch Show Print

iPF5000 Prints letter size from cassette.

Boring video gives a look inside as the iPF5000 unloads roll stock and then prints a letter sized print from the cassette. This was using firmware version 1.12. Banding in the resulting print is then shown. Hopefully some good clues as to the cause of the banding can be seen. Note the position of the banding and the position of the print as the front drive "pizza cutters" drop at 03:03. Also note the position of the print as the paper leaves the rear feed at 03:12.
