Doorways to the Future Mosaic Mural Project
A series of 15 ceramic mosaic murals, produced by the Museum of Cultural Arts Houston (MOCAH), for the hallways of Edison Middle School in Houston TX. Middle School students worked with professional artists to create the 15 doorway size murals. Each mural depicts an academic subject taught at the school. This is a short documentary of a two week Visual Art residency in a rural community of Sparta, GA (Hancock County). Tunde worked with a group of teenagers at the TEENS-A-MILLIONS center in Sparta, GA to create a mural. This mural captures community histories of Hancock County dating back to 1790s.
